I am a recent lover of granola! I am by no means an expert or connoisseur. But I love this simple recipe. It doesn’t get super crunchy. It’s more like cereal, but I like that I can mix it with yogurt or eat it with milk.
Yummy Nutty Granola
3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1 cup assorted nuts (I like a mixture of almonds and walnuts)
3/4 cups unsweetened coconut flakes
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup real maple syrup (could use honey as well)
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 350 F .
- Melt coconut oil and mix with maple syrup.
- Combine all of the ingredients, mixing well to coat.
- Spread on a baking sheet and bake until golden, about 30 minutes.
